STEM Premier is proud to announce our partnership with HOSA-Future Health Professionals, a national student organization which serves secondary, post-secondary and collegiate students who seek a career in the health professions.
HOSA (Health Occupations Students of America) was founded in 1976 and is currently comprised of over 200,000 members in 48 U.S. states and in six countries. Officially recognized by the U.S. Department of Education, it provides access to programming which is designed to build the personal, technical, and leadership skills of its members.
The mission of HOSA is to enhance the delivery of quality healthcare to all people and to promote career opportunities in the healthcare industry.
That’s what makes our partnership a perfect match.
By utilizing the STEM Premier platform, HOSA members can plug themselves into a talent pipeline and shape their own educational and professional futures. Regardless of what their next step is - technical college, a four-year university, or entering the workforce - they can connect with and be found by organizations that are interested in healthcare-related talent.
Jobs in the healthcare industry are poised to increase dramatically in the next decade, and four of the five fastest growing occupations in the U.S. are related to healthcare. Filling these positions with qualified candidates will become an ever-increasing challenge for hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare organizations. In rural areas of the U.S., this challenge can be even more daunting.
Together, STEM Premier and HOSA seek to address this challenge head-on and enable students everywhere who are interested in healthcare to pursue their passions and dreams. By connecting these students and future health professionals with the right resources, schools, and organizations, we can help ensure that quality healthcare is available in all places to all people.
